Hopper, Dump O/O's & Drivers

Nothing that will go against me on claims, pretty sure of that. This was the load that was sitting under the old tarps since Saturday.

Tell me if this isn't embarrassing to drive down the highway.

 

Bar R out of Hesston. The guy that owns the deal seems like a stand up guy. He's gone out of his way to help me. He's been up front about some of the bad stuff. Like whats coming during winter when it slows up a bit. We shall see...

Hoping to work a deal shortly on this leased trailer. 99 Wilson 78x96x43', I am not digging this lease deal, not one little bit. Still waiting for the tire guys to stick a couple better trailer tires on it, was too wet to get to today. Its hurry up and wait for me right now lol.

Amazing what I can get done when I don't sit on the computer all night lol. Drug that tarp out of the shed, and took a few pics. Unfortunately I had it setting out side for a couple of weeks and it got wet inside (condensation I am sure) so the rings have gotten rusty, and the #### thing was full of slugs UGHHH! Will drag it into the sun tomorrow for some drying time, and then baby powder or cornstarch it. Somebody tell me if the baby powder is a bad idea please.

The thing measures 23' x 17'6", guess that means its a small half tarp, and not a third. Its heavy as hell, I am guessing 80lbs? The water probably didn't help!



You can see the rust on the rings, its actually a little worse than the pic shows, but still very usable.

The last pic shows some of the repairs done to it, I am quite sure the repairs were done professionally, and I really didn't see any tears or holes in the rest of the thing. I thing its a very sound tarp, with the exception of the rusty rings.
