Ver busy indeed.... J-ville, FL to Mulberry-gonzales TX houston to knox cit TX then out to carlsbad back to bonham TX.. up to AR to head back and take care of RObs trailer.. Found a place in London KY on Friday to dropp my trailer the went to get Robs. had been dropped in the head down butt up shut up position soI couldn't get under it... (Remember the crank handle?) ran around to find a hardware store which of the 2 I found did not have what I needed...found a NAPA added a sudo dump valve and headed back... still couldn't get under it.... found a local guy with a big front end loader who picked it up enough for me to put blocks under it.... moved it to a safe location then took my load to martinsville, va. dropped my trailer... bobtail back to london KY get robs load haul it to harrisonburg, va to deliver Monday.... DH his trailer back to martinsville to get my trailer then DH to chesapeake, VA to get my next load.. got out of there at 11am tuesday headed for walnut ridge AR which was supposed to deliver wednesday but the closed at 3pm,,, delivered this am and had a heck of a time getting my doors open,,, they use the rubber webbing instead of tracks so when its a heavy load just stretch instead of moving the doors... trust headache rack holds several ratchet strapps so I used 2 of them to add leverage and get the rear door open about a half an inch... front went better... in between moving to ground drop the front hoppper my dispatch texts me to say that I need to hurry because the load I am supposed to pick up in weat memphis has to be in Eatonton, GA before 4 PM Time of message? 11:45 est... Reply???? Not Gona hap N.....
Currently under load from memphis and will have to sit on it until monday..need to be in Savannah for a DR's app by noon Friday.. of course you can just guess that my books are not exactly legal considering somewhere in there I was supposed to get a 34.but they look good :) ...add to that dealing with robs ticket and a few other issues along the way and you could say that I have been busy ...... this has been one heii of a trip

ps forgive the grammer and spelling... I'm to tire to care right now :)

Yeah, I would say you have been busy. Strange trap doors I heard Timpte made some of them like that. They now have a better version of that called sidewinders. They have rubber on the trap door but supposedly open easier. I saw one trucker that had them and barely had to crank to open the door. However the majority of the doors are good ole aluminum .

5mouths heres a quick fix for your height problem.in the back of the rig you will find a valve with an arm attached to it.it's held in place with a rubber bushing type of thing pull the rod out and im pretty sure you push it down but it might be up. youll know as your bags will raise or lower. if it wont stay just put something heavy on it to hold it.and just back up under it..hook back up when hooked.we used to do that to hook up double drop trailers when someone forgot to block it. hope this helps next time. 5 Mouths sounds like you passed thru here. We're full blown wide open cutting rice now. Sposed to rain tonight. We cut some today that was pretty green tho the moisture was 16.3. I always heard them talk about cutting "green" rice and thought they meant high moisture. Once I got involved I quickly found out no they mean green.

Wheathauler, how's your ankle? Which one is it?

I still haven't hauled any grain yet, no one did much here today, supposed to be nice here Sat and Sun. Someone will probably get fired up and call Sun afternoon and ruin a good nap. At least the trucks and trailers are nice and shiny......for now.

I slipped off the tractor step last year and the teeth on the edge ripped into my boot. I didn't even realize what happened until I took them off that night. It didn't get my ankle but I was so glad I always wear heavy work boots.

You're right, it is easier to get in and out of a T-800. :biggrin_255:

Ankle's doing better. Was the left ankle so wasn't too bad...going to have pretty colors on ankle from sprain. I was barefoot and it turned on me, don't think it would been wearing shoes.

Harvest is just starting to go around here, at least beans anyway.

Cause I haven't been paid enough to affaord all the stuff needed to fix it after he tore it up and I sure don't need the ticket for improper lighting..Nor do I want to be held responsible efor the damages to it since he recieved it... My trailer has not one more scratch dent or ding than it had the day I recieved it...... Also Rob has a habit of taking the crank with him when His truck breaks down so I wind up opening doors with a pipe wrench...

I was thinking it could have saved you some time and miles if you had kept it. Where are you now?
