Whats your dead head rate? Ours is USUALLY below a quarter of the miles. I tell you what, doesn't matter what your hauling, the broker always get more than what they are telling you they are getting. Same thing when hubby was hauling cattle, but hubby caught him when he had to rescue another driver that had a "haul back" that paid .90 cents a mile more to the other driver, because it wasn't a haul back for that driver. Hubby saw that on the paper work and fire flew from his ears.

Not raining this morning but it's like a cloud hanging on the ground. 100% humidity mist type deal. One of our 9400's has a beaver on the door. Would ya'll consider this a "show" truck?

Around here that would qualify as a show truck... we don't have pictures on our trucks.

We weren't supposed to either but the painter lady took it on herself to put it on there. The bosses were gonna take it back and make her paint over it but then they got to thinking it was me driving it so they left it. I told them if I get in any fights on the staging lots because of that beaver I want hazard pay. What makes it worse is the beaver has a sick looking perverted grin on his face. That painter lady is a strange one.
This particular truck is owned by Beaver Dam Farms. The other truck is Whiskerville Farms. She did it first with no artwork and the boss told her to do the beaver truck just like it. She threw the artwork in free. We call that truck "Little Beavy". I hate it.

    bullhaulerswife Thanks this.

Yes, I was going to ask about the beaver but thought better of it. Now I don't have to.
