Sunny again today. Cutting beans for seed company...nasty place to get into. Would think seed company would be nice and wide. No chance... crowded as heck.

Takes forever to unload there as they use a belt augar to put grain in bins.

Sunny and windy today. Should be able to cut again today. Well, tomorrow I get to go to the doctor and get a exercise stress test. That's where they get fat truck drivers on a treadmill and try to kill them. That's my theory.. doctor said it is good for me to do it.

Beginning to hear of beans sprouting in the pods around here. The boss talked to a guy Sat. who took 17% damage dock on some last week. Those beans are fun to get out of a hopper.

That's a little unusual to have beans sprout but I've heard of some corn doing that too. I doubt the beans would be fun coming out of hopper...never had to do that, thank goodness.

Well if you do keel over, at least there'll be a doctor nearby! Good luck with it.

Sun almost came out for a few minutes today, then decided against it. It actually didn't rain, but was humid as heck this morning from last nights rain. Guess what the forecast is for tomorrow and Fri??? Do I even have to say it???

Saw a couple people shelling corn, must not have been many, the elevator was closed by 4:30.

Rain!Rain! Really poured here last night and the fields and roads are a mess. Supposed to be sunny next six days...hope so will need it to dry out.

Got call from Cargill today they needed help bad again. I'm guessing they needed more beans for a train. Couldn't help them had to go to doctor. They only call me in a emergency anyway...any other time they won't call me.

Raining here too. The final drive went out in the bosses new combine. They've had it a month. They've still got the CTS it replaced so I guess they can break it out if the new one is a while getting fixed.

Yep, started raining around noon, rained steadily all day, got about .9" in the gauge now, radar still showing a lot to come over us yet. Looks like some blue in western KS, jeez, we don't need that! :biggrin_25513: Doesn't look like there's going to be any grain moving here for a few more days, going to get the drop deck a little exercise, got a load of lumber to run to OH for monday.

How did your stress test go? That figures that Cargill would call on a day you can't help them. Thank Murphy and all his Laws for that.
