I'm afraid I did see the Bears Sunday night, definitely a sorry display, but just part of the Bears' tradition of sorry quarterbacking! I remember one game a while back where they actually listed every QB they've had since Jim McMahon, what a list! Most of em are probably driving a forklift in a warehouse somewhere. People used to rag on Jim Harbaugh, but he was actually pretty darn good compared to what we've had lately.

Another rainout day for us, got back in the field Sun afternoon and folks were going pretty good till late morning today, got hammered with more rain. The fun continues.........

Still hauling beans today. My farmers said going to try milo on the 30th of November. Moisture was 21 a while back...awfully wet.

Sorry about rain RW. Maybe finish by time Santa comes.

If harvest is done by then I would be happy. A neighbor dad was hauling for yesterday got his 800 bu Kinze cart stuck bad, couldn't pull it out, sunk down too deep, had to get a gravity wagon and unload it a little at a time till it was emtpy. Another guy here got a 9600 stuck bad enough that he had to have a semi wrecker come winch it out.

We had .4". West of here had less, maybe we will be back in business tomorrow. East of here had more. Good luck with the milo, WH.

Talked to a driver today hauling into Colwich. DOT cops got him, he was a lil overweight at 86K. Poor guy (company driver) worked this week for free...

Why in the heck do those guys do that??? I am always seeing company drivers loading up 85 5 on non spreads.

Its hard to be a Chiefs fan. Too much false hope!

Mainly because they are paid on % and long lines at Colwich. Overloading leads to low rates...if they ran legal they would go broke. I'm usually within a 1,000 lbs of legal but I'm picky about what I haul for.

Hauled some wheat today. Then went to Wichita to get some parts for truck...thought might be closed Friday and they are going to be. Now I can work on truck during this break. Haven't really had a chance to do much to it since harvest. Just thinking this years harvest just like that Everready Bunny it justs keep going and going, going.:biggrin_25519:
