Already working on a cordless drill attachment so I just have to pull the trigger. And on the milkin thing, it's kinda like a truckin: based on pennies not dollars. But if you didn't milk them they'd have all dried up right? I know the mistake lost about 100 to 125 gallons, but, good care of the animals has got to be worth something. Only means something if intentional or being cavalier about the mistake.
Off and on, isn't that nice? LOL He's stressed, I'm stressed, man what a week this is going to be. AND he's going to be on mud hill tonight, at ADM. Not the place you want to be without heat. On the up side, the APU thawed out, so at least that heat works.
Has the truck ever had good heat at those temps??? If it is a southern spec'd truck, just might have to much cooling for the sub zero stuff.
The only real way to get around sub zero for comfort is an aux direct fired heater like an Espar. I haven't had to deal with those temps since the 70's, but, seems like that's changing.
Yeah, before the inframe, and shortly after the inframe. Maybe 6 months after. Last winter was bad, I was with him during that cold snap, and we had new T-stats put in then.
RW.,,, have you been hearing anything about a shortage of soyhulls around some of the area bean processors? we are having a hard time finding enough around here without running up to your part of the woods. i know you haul mostly grain, but i thought you may have overheard some drivers on the radio maybe talking about hulls being in short-supply. i think that they must be going down the river. my dispatcher at my local mill is having a hard time finding hulls within 200 miles from central ky.
If your going to run hopper, you will be dealing with those temps. LOL He got the APU thawed out, so he can at least run it. AND he unpluged the block heater from it, so if he has to, he can run it going down the road. I don't want to see what the mileage will be for this week. LOL
