Welcome to the forum rustywire. If you're just wanting to see the corn to tell when to pull up, a guy that drives for our elevator in town mounted a little camera on the front tarp cap looking back into the trailer. A little unusual, but its another idea to consider.
Didn't have anything to haul the last 2 days, with the 5 inches of snow we got and nasty wind I'd probably have postponed it anyway. The road back to my house drifts really bad when we have a west wind, last night after I went in town for supper and groceries, there was about a 100 yard stretch that was drifted 3 ft deep and halfway across the lane. Hope all the real truckers stay safe out in this stuff, call me a fair weather trucker, I don't care! Got some corn to haul next week, supposed to be warmer though.
We haven't got our IFTA decals yet either, I mailed in the form Nov 30. They definitely cashed the check though! -
I was told Feb 15th. Each state must be different???
-
Evidently, I got my IFTA decals a week after I paid for them. I was doing state IRP and we had from Jan 1-March 1 to get information in.
-
Not looking forward to tonight. I've got the alarm set on my cell phone to wake me up every three hours to put more wood in.
Is it summer yet?
-
Not sure the exact date for here. Stuff came in mid month just didn't look because thought I was going to lease on with a local company. Just thought to get it taken care of before I get out running. Not sure how often I will be getting through the house running hoppers.
PIA to do long distance, well really PIA to do in PA. -
You can do everything online here now. I don't even touch a piece of paper anymore or use stamps for my IFTA. The quarterly reporting is still a bit of a PITA online, if you make a mistake, you have to start all over, but still better than hand writing in all those little boxes.

WH, Hubby said the pellets came out really fast, and the inside of the trailer was nice and shiny and clean. He didn't even have to sweep corners. I was totally wrong.
Anyone know what gets hauled out of Anheuser Busch in Jonesboroh? Thats hubbys reload, after his corn comes off at the tortilla factory.wheathauler, RAG and Big John Thank this. -
Glad the pellets came out ok.
-6 here with no wind yet...so could be worse.
bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
It didn't get as cold here as the predicted. Only -18. But the trees are beautiful this morning.
-
They keep using the term bitterly cold in the forecast, am here to tell them that isn't the only that is bitter at the moment.

Have never mailed off the renewal for the IFTA stickers before, always went down to the office to pick them up. Sent mine off around the same time as RW & still waiting for them. Glad there is a grace period, just not digging the idea of having another area for an officer to want to look into.bullhaulerswife and wheathauler Thank this.
