Ever try that pepsi or mt. dew throwbacks? They're both made of real sugar. I try not to drink alot of pop, but sometimes I give in.

I could finish a whole 12 pack by myself in one day. Burp all day. I replaced the coke with ice water.

When I was a soldier I drank coffee til noon (2 pots or so), and then Mt. Dew until dinner (6 pack), and then switched to beer.I tried that later in life and got round in a hurry. Didn't find out that caffeine was good for minor aches and pain until 10 years later - maybe that's what it was.
You could always try drink mixes, that's what I do on the road. A case of bottled water, and a bag of drink flavor packets come in handy in a truck. The mix lasts forever, and the water can be used for other things - like brushing your teethLuis Thanks this. -
what's this tooth brushing thing you speak of??

Can you really tell a difference between old style regular sugar pop and the high fructose corn syrup stuff of today? I drink Diet Coke now, whenever I go back and have a Pepsi, the sugar in it really has a kick.
Luis, do your posts over here in the hopper thread count against your daily 10? Don't worry, we won't tell Ken!
It snow flurried here most of the day, with about a 20 mph wind. Didn't accumulate much, but the roads had a film of snow on them. 2nd trip to the river, there were 3 vehicles in the ditch, one on its top. Don't think anyone was hurt. Spent about as much time sitting waiting on the barge to load and move as we did on the road today. Then late this afternoon, heard that one of the elevator's semi's ended up in the ditch. The driver wasn't hurt, no one else was involved, and it was one of their oldest trucks. Still hated to hear that.Luis Thanks this.
