Snowing a lil bit here right now. Hopefully it wont be real bad in the morning.

I managed to lock myself out of the house early this afternoon. Ran outside to start my pickup truck in shorts and deck shoes. Headed back inside and as soon as I pulled on the storm door it sucked the main door shut, and of course it was locked. Heard my next door neighbor outside messing around so I went over there and was explaining what happened. His 6 year old kid volunteered to crawl through the doggy door to unlock the front door for me. Apparently he misunderstood the mission as ten minutes later he had disappeared into my house and I hadn't heard from him.

I stick my head through the doggy door and start calling his name. He runs over out of breath, and informs me that he's working on the problem, and promptly takes off again. Somewhere he got it into his head that I needed my house keys which were in my pants. So he had headed for my bedroom and was checking ALL of my pants pockets in the bedroom closet. Finally I got his mom to come over and call for him, he stopped to listen to her just long enough to understand I didnt need the keys, and he only needed to unlock the front door which was ten foot from the doggy door.

After about forty minutes of negotiation with the 6 year old we finally got him to pull open the front door. I headed straight for the hardware store to purchase a spare house key!!! :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2552:

Great looking family 5M2F! You know there had to be some solo co. driver out there this weekend in a gazillion inch sleeper yelling at his co. that he needs a bigger truck!;)

You have my respect man, not many would take care of their family like that! Cool looking dog too!

Woke up at 4am and it was snowing big time, so I just went back to bed. I am sure cowdoc got hit hard because I am just south of him at Beebe this morning. I am unloading and they don't have much room for me to dump so I am backed in their shed about six feet and raised it as much as I can then they are unloading me thru the coal shute and into their little front end loader because of the weather. I wished I got paid by the hour sometimes this is going to take awhile.

Anyone else getting hit with snow?

We got a inch or two here. The worst was to the south of us...we got lucky. North wind picking up and temp is supposed to drop today. Lows tonight in single digits.

I'm stuck in my driveway. :biggrin_2557: Pretty sad, level drive with 2 inches of snow on it and I can't move at all. The office skimped on the cheapo locking diff. Waiting on sis to show up with some rock salt.
