Called B&R earlier this morning. He wants me to bring it by. Thanks for the tip on the EGR too. I dont even wanna know what Roberts wants for one of themHow many miles/months are you guys getting out of the rebuilds? I was told to stay away from the rebuilds, but if you guys are having decent luck with them...
Its crazy that dang radiator is so wrapped up under plastic you cant see anything on it. I hope it slides out from the top some how, otherwise its gonna be a mess digging it out of there.

Welcome to the thread. Ever get into Roquette at Keokuk? That's about as far your direction I ever get, and thankfully, as slow as that place is, its not very often.
-
We've been there a couple times, at least they will call you on your cell phone, not make you sit and listen to the CB. LOL
-
Is that for loading out? Kinda ironic considering they have signs for the corn trucks not to use a cell phone while you're on their property!
For dumping corn, they are pretty slow. But they are open really late during harvest, I'll give them that.
bullhaulerswife Thanks this. -
We have replaced around six egr valves on our trucks that run out of wichita . So far we have had good luck first one we replaced has been running strong for almost a year. I was told we have changed maybe 40 or so company wide and only had trouble when they first started rebuilding them. Hope that helps. -
How in the hell do they get away with charging $1300 for an EGR valve without being lynched by an angry mob?

Welcome aboard,Ben Around
Ditto on the tracking in the slimy mud in the truck,RW,only thing worse is sour soybeanmeal, that dang stuff will stink up a truck for a week, hope ya'll get dried out, sounds like it has been really wet,i never heard of stopping the school buses
Have you been hauling much, wheathauler,i have not kept up with wheat prices lately, are they down too? -
Snuck around this little mess on my way home tonight. Its hard to tell, but its right at X 31 on I 135. On top of the bridge at Newells. Nobody got hurt, thank goodness there's a state trooper just out of camera range. Sorry the pic is so bad, but it was from my camera phone, and I had about a second to turn the camera on.

Newton police had the truck stopped at x30 before he got onto 50w. The bales came from the middle of the load. Not the front or back. Only thing I can figure is he swerved to miss something real quick. -
That helps a lot actually, I will get a rebuild. Sounds like they have figured out why the rebuilds were failing and took care of business.
Roberts "tried" to charge me $2000 for 4 new batteries, a new starter and a battery cable including installation. I #### you not they actually had a $100 charge on there for miscellaneous shop supplies LOL. They did that when they realized Arrow Truck Sales had to flip the bill. I will run that truck Flintstone style before I give Roberts any of my business. -
Yeah, loading, I should have said that. We've never hauled anything into them. Yeah, they will call you, when your load is up. We get DDG out of there and if I remember right they only have a load like every 6 hours, or something like that.RW. Thanks this.
