Yep 3406 B model cat, fresh overhaul with around 5,000 miles it was a complette inframe with new injectors and turbo and radiator. Got cat warranty the reciept shows total of 17,000. Bought the truck at a farm sale its been sheded for the last 15years only getting it out in wheat and corn harvest. Its a pretty clean old truck we knew the guy that had it were the 3rd owner. It may be closer to first of year before we get rolling and if it slow we may wait till spring. Trying to cash flow this deal and hopefully second times a charm, ive learned alot lol.

Hauling wheat again. I'd say have at least two weeks work left at the elevator.

What about the milo and beans, how far off are they? Our corn is 29-32% that we are gona shell and dad and son are chopping corn silage this week, they said the yeilds were down a tad,but we only have around 120 acres of corn this year in all . One of the larger farmers in Somerset i haul for said he was about 3 weeks from starting,if the weather stays like this. Forcast looks good for this week, temps around 80-85 with low humidity and clear skies, hope they are right.

Milo and beans long ways off. Dryland corn could be anytime. Calling for rain here Tuesday but who knows.

squarebox, I just pull a hopper locally, directly for customers, I don't use brokers with it. But I can welcome you to the hopper thread, at least....:biggrin_25519:

You have a good run right now squarebox. I mainly use grain company brokers, do use some load boards but they usually don't pay very good.
