The flats are moving pretty good but a few others and myself have not been moving like we was, it is who I am leased to. They tell us we are going to me moving a lot of pipe out of Tulsa area to Houston but the place sucks where we load at because it takes longer to get in the place to load and to get your paper work after you load then it does to load and that is the best part.

When you get to Houston the place you deliver to doesn't open the gate until about 6:30 am so their are trucks parked all up and down the road then these idiots make a mad dash in their road junk to get in the place. I was their from 7am until 3pm before I got empty. They have there favorite no speaky English drivers that they will pull around you all day long. So then it is to late to reload so you reload the following day at another pipe yard and about a half day getting loaded then back to Oklahoma City. So one day getting loaded, truck all night, next day all day to unload, spend the night, load and truck up to OKC to unload the next day.

I hope this is the right place to ask about getting information on what ratio do i need to pull a 3 axle hopper. I'm looking at 3 different tractors, KW, Freightliner, & WS. The tractor that i will buy will have a 10 to 13 sp, 550-600 hp. I will drive mostly hy-way untill harvest. The hopper will not be a lift axle. I may put a push axle on the tractor.
thank you in advance. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.

Well, one of our trucks has 3.90 rears and used to have a 10 spd until we changed it just before harvest to a 13. The 13 made it a lot better for getting out of the field loaded. The other one has 3.70 rears and an autoshift 10, which make it a little too high geared to get out of fields well. We still manage ok with it, but someday I'd like to re-ratio it with 3.90's and swap the auto for a standard 13 like the other one. They both have 12.7 Detroits, doesn't seem like they have the low end torque like a good old 3406, but I like them for their fuel mileage.

What is your weight limit in NE? And speed limits?

You guys no I wouldn't do that, hell you guys wouldn't speak to me anymore and probably call me names, slash my tires, pull my pin and rite graffiti all over my truck while I am sitting in line somewhere. Plus I hate refried beans.

Took screenings from seed company to Cargill. There were many Sun Valley trucks at Cargill. They're just sucking up all the loads around here. I guess that's to be expected with all the trucks they have.

I see there trucks everywhere wheathauler. Are they a decent company to work for and are they rate cutters? I used to have a friend leased to them few years back his name was dan, ive lost touch with him and havent seen him in a long time. Do they lease trucks on anymore or are they all company owned? I got a friend that lives in hutch and hes looking for something different he drives for foodliner rite now. I also know that my friend tony has some trucks out of stroud called MTI thats pulling some of sun valleys loads of midds. Also have you seen the add for NCI looking for owner operators to pull grain hoppers?
