Yep RW.,and the forcast here for Wed.night/Thur. morning is for freezing rain or ice pellets:biggrin_25513:. I'm really thinking my next big investment is going to be one of those 30x72 hoop buildings:biggrin_255:

so much about Global warming think that it is the politiacans that are creating all this warm air stuff . Our fearless leaders must be keeping their mouths shut as it has been colder than it normal and a lot earlier than norm.

Heater not fixed. I told the boss I'm dodging that truck for a few days. I've been dumping at parboil. That rice cooking smells really good.

We sure could use some moisture but you can keep the freezing rain. Truck's air lines froze up again this morning.

Highside, you would have loved Colwich today. Probably close to twenty trucks there. They were around the second curve and down the road. Debating on going tomorrow. I'm thinking it's the only thing going right now.

I had a good day going hauling non-GMO corn to the barge direct place today, at least until about 1 when got the barge almost full and they couldn't move it. The river's a little low and must've got some ice underneath it. Couldn't winch it with their cables, got a tug to come over and he messed with it for an hour and could only spin it around, couldn't actually move it. Got a 2nd tug on the other end, and they still couldn't get it going.....2nd tug was replaced by a bigger tug....this one opened it up and got things moving. :biggrin_25514: By the time they got a new barge in and got me dumped, I had been there 3 hours. Oh well, mama told me there'd be days like this. My biggest complaint is that I was stuck in the daycab and couldn't stretch out and take a proper cat-nap. :biggrin_25518: Not hauling there tomorrow, so at least it will take a different problem to slow me down. Weather perhaps? :biggrin_2559:

Man, when it gets that bad, I don't even think it's worth leaving the yard for. Did you manage to get more than just one load in?

No, just one load. Friend was there at four a.m. and said there was three trucks ahead of him.

Well, went to Colwich again today. There was 12 or more trucks there again. I am either going to have to get paid more or find something else. One load a day isn't cutting it at these rates.
