Hard to say why. I was offered some loads but had to be in by Friday and I didn't have enough time. Dispatchers really don't have any idea how long some loads take. The elevator it went to is really slow unloading even if you are the only one there.

Friday Feb 4 North Central Texas - 4 inches of new snow from late last night on top of ice from earlier in the week.
Happy Trails -
Dang, you got more snow than we did this week. 28 * outside, heat wave.
-
We got lucky no Ice here just snow and it was a dry snow but from what I saw rain Monday and then snow again on Tuesday
-
I would guess we got about 18", but its hard to say for sure, it blew so hard during the storm there are places in my yard that are bare grass and places with 3' drifts. Haven't had school since Monday, one township south of us had both plow trucks break down and were asking farmers with tractors and blades to help plow roads out today. Some of those folks had been snowed in since Tuesday. I'm just glad the electricity stayed on.
-
Were supposed to get another storm on Sunday but not as bad.
Can't wait! -
Watching weather today we have a chance for more snow on Tues, Wed.. Highs in the teens again. Hopefully not a repeat of this week. I was lucky not much going on this week for me but next week is a different story. Guess get as many loads in as possible Monday.
-
Just glad were not in Texas with all the ice. In Houston they can't drive very good on dry payment let alone ice.
-
Big John, looks like the next storm may get you worse than us. Due in Tuesday. Nothing like a snow storm a week to break the boredom. Course if it's like last weeks I'd rather be bored.
-
WH at least I am at home. I going to Wichita on Monday (maybe) and back home hopefully before it hits. I have my truck sold if he don't back out (keepin my fingers crossed) and then get my next project picked up after the storm. At least I can get my insurance and authority done over the phone.
