Loads are doing ok but will run out shortly. Loads seem to be really slowing down for some reason. There are loads in western kansas but haven't found anything good to get out there with. Did you get your trailer yet?

No it is still sitting at Wilson in Dodge it isn't going anywhere and they know I will be up their next week. I don't have a truck to go get it and mine sold before I could get it picked up. I went to Hesston to look at the Pete today and what a POS, I just can't believe people don't take care of their equipment. The best one so far is the Kenworth but the owner took off for the week and won't be back till Monday so it is a waiting game. I did locate a 98' Pete 379 that is just North of me that I might be able to get a good deal on but waiting on a call back on that one. It's kinda like being retired right know but no retirement check coming in. :biggrin_2559:

If it helps any I don't think there are that many hopper loads around right now, at least around here. I kept busy during Dec and Jan which was unusual but it has slowed down now.

What loads are out there are cheap. I was quoted a load for 1.24 a loaded mile today. Another quote was 1.12 a loaded mile.

I noticed NCI out of Lucas, KS has changed their ad, no more flattop Peterbilt, they have a white plain jane Freightliner. Also they are no longer hiring owner operators, they are looking for guys with their own authority to rent their hoppers. Remember they only have a limited number of openings. lol

I've been out for 12 days, 6000 miles, $1.68 per all running miles....not great but better than a lot I've heard.

That's darn good compared to what we have been getting here

It is a nice looking Pete. Going to wait on the KW, Big John?

    Hi

I do haul grain and grain by products with a bottom hopper Super B-Train. Not my own I drive for a Lloyd Hurst Transport in Atwood, Ontario. They have around 16 trucks, half Super B's and the other half quad axle end dump.
Mostly I haul corn, wheat, soys, some wheat shorts, a lot of soybean meal or canola meal for the feed mills.
