RW., Saddle Tramp, wheathauler and 1 other person Thank this. -
Randy I have always liked your truck. You staying busy? I heard that Gary's truck went down on him awhile back.
-
Fairly busy.
Short week this week come home Wednesday and had a load but the elevator was full so I sit at home instead of Arkansas. Haven't talked with Gary for a month or so.
He was pulling a refer from MO. to CA. last time we talked. Hate to hear about his truck.
From what I have read on the forum you have sold your truck and are in the
market for another truck and hopper bottom. Good Luck hope you find a good one.Last edited: Feb 18, 2011
Big John Thanks this. -
Just shows how much the US really cares about drivers making a living.
Hope you all are doing good out there, my trucks been parked since September looking for decent rates and lower fuel costs. I actually lost money almost every month last year, and finally decided I had to park it before something expensive happened. I haven't decided yet, but my truck may be up for sale here soon if something doesn't give.
btw Nevs - those are numbers to be proud of, I was doing decent to get $1.68/mi loaded out of most of these customers (let alone idling for days waiting for a decent load to show up). -

That is an interesting picture you have.
My daughter took one of an old cedar tree in our back yard very similar to it when she was in the 8th grade (she has since graduated from The University Of Texas) and won a national title with it.
I tried to download it so I could show it to you but the pixel size is to much for the forum to download. -
I could convert it for you if you want.

Yes, pretty heavy loads. I remember my first load was quite an experience with all that weight on the back pushing and pulling.
Over all I have a max. gross weight of 140,000 lbs that are approx. 97,000 lbs of grain.
StefanBig John Thanks this. -
With 97,000 lbs of corn on the super B-Train that would be 483 Can$. in US$ would it be right now around the same amount.
Some loads are better some are not so good.
I don't know what the prices are down your area.
Sorry to hear that you had to park your truck.
