I thought I had and 03' Pete 379 bought that belong to a friend of mine but the truck he was going to replace it with sold when he called back. He has 1,100,000 and some change on his and the second owner. It has a 550 6NZ that never has been in to except for overheads and uses a gallon of oil between changes. I wished I could have been the third owner.

Seems like I remember our old buddy Pharm hauling that stuff way back when? :yes2557: Looks like it would be better suited to a dump trailer, but even then, I still wouldn't want to haul the stuff.

That's what we did but we used air cylinders and solenoid valves. There was a stainless timpte here that used a small hydraulic motor on the shaft. But you still had to have the 12v pump so that's why we used air.

Waiting on our new Wilson to arrive to do the same thing. Man old people are getting lazy, my dad pulls the current hopper with air doors and when he decides to help haul coils he pulls the coil trailer that doesn't require any chains.:biggrin_2559:

One complaint (other than it being a Pete instead of a W9:smt064) Move the air/electric lines under the trailer where they should be.

I like my electric tarp but will pass on trap openers. Heck I got to get some exercise or will be big as a barn. I will admit it would be nice to get out of the dust when unloading.
