The guys up in western Nebraska would open the doors on the Wilson but not the custom one. The Wilson was easy. That custom one you'd about tear your arms off trying to turn that T-bar so they left it to me.

Been running milo hard this week contract about done. May start hauling wheat tomorrow. Diesel is $3.87 around here and hopefully will stay there. Never ending battle with merchandisers to get rate up because of fuel.

I have been busy, ran 475 miles today and hauled four loads and stayed within 70 miles of the house. Day started at 4:30 and was home at 5. I think I may need to go back OTR so I can rest. lol.
DOT is everywhere around here the last couple of days. I here their in training season, I guess their training newbies for the new super coops their building on the big roads. They were even working late tonight, two DOT Tahoe's had a three axle hopper from Nebraska pulled over when I went north to load my corn and it looked like they were giving him a work over. When I returned their was a MTI hopper sitting outside of Pond Creek and when I went buy his wife got on the big radio and told me to stop the DOT was sitting at the junction. Most of their drivers from what I have seen are not all that bright, I just replied back I don't run my operation like MTI does and I don't have a worry, 10-4. I get up there and they were gone. Their is a black DOT Dodge Charger that has been working around here hard the last two weeks. I wished they would concentrate more on the belly dumps working in the oilfields, their are trucks from Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana here hauling. -
is over with then. Elevators still have a bunch of milo and corn to haul. Our
rates are still decent but here some of the guys that haul for ADM and Johnston's are complaining about how low their rates are. They have told me what they were hauling for and I would just park mine before I would roll the tarp for that. -

Getting ready to leave out for David City, NE tonight. Anybody care to guess what I'm picking up there? First correct guess wins the "grain hauler of the day" award

Ive seen some of the end dump boys hooked to brand new stoughton grain trailers, leased from wichita trailer sales. Chaparo and SD&S you may have to keep fighting for goods rates wheathauler. I think they have ruined the end dump work around here and now there pulling hoppers.
wheathauler Thanks this. -
