Bill, did you get to tour the Timpte plant while you were there?

Here's some more pics of the storage storage lot where you go to get your trailer at the factory. Didin't get to see much of the factory itself; they must like to keep the riff raff out :biggrin_255:

All I can say is there were ALOT of new trailers there!

No, I didn't. The lot where you pick your trailer up is across the street to the north of the plant. The only part of the plant I got to see was the north edge, and it looked just like any other industrial buildings you've seen. It's really not that big of a place. Maybe sits on 30 acres I'd guess. I didn't ask if they would show me around. Had a load of DDG waiting on me in Fairmont and it had to be in Moundridge, KS by 2:00 that day, so I had some truckin' to do! Not to mention I had to go around the scales on 81...tha DDG filled that little trailer up completely, which put me 1000 lbs over on the drives despite being legal on gross. (I was REALLY missing my spread!)

BTW, I told you wrong the other day about setting the clearance on the gears on your trap door. It's supposed to be a 7/64" drill bit or equivilent between the pinion gear tooth peak and the rack gear valley instead of a 3/64". I can scan the pages in the manual if that will help you any.

Is this the front of the place. Someone sent me this pic and I think they were picking up new trailers.

Yep. That's the entrance to the plant. It's on the other side of the street from where you pick up your trailer. You used to have to go into the plant area to get your trailer but I guess they recently started sending them out of the storage lot across the street. It didn't look like they had been using it very long. The check-in office was pretty new I know that.
