    I was their trying to borrow money to buy on oil rig since fuel is getting so high but the banker just laughed and loaned me enough for a post hole digger, shovel and a five gallon bucket to catch it in.

    Fuel went up again and see where some are getting out down here, putting trucks and trailers up for sale. I had a friend of mine just bought a 2011 Timpte 42x96x66 with aluminum wheels and stainless rear and corners for $29,000. A guy bought it for $36,000 new and put 10,000 miles on it and got out.

    The trend will probably continue until fuel starts dropping. I believe we will have a smaller wheat harvest and that will drive more out. There will still probably be too many trucks so the rates won't do much.

    If these are the rates for high fuel prices I don't want to know what they will be when fuel drops. I know they drop the rates really fast when fuel comes down.

    Got a little rain today. .25 which is more than we have had in a long time. Compared to you guys back east that's nothing.

    We got about .55 here I hope more is on the way. Hauling is getting pretty slow down here not for sure what the future is going to bring.

    It's real slow here too. They seem to be fighting for feedlot hauling which doesn't pay that good.

    Wish we could take some rain off your hands. This has been one of the driest springs in quite some time. Usually have high water table this time of year but my sump pump hasn't been on in a long long time.
