Another nice mild spring day 100* and a strong south wind. :biggrin_25512:

Yeah. little toasty here also and it isn't even July/August yet.

Fuel is around $3.75 in some local fuel stops and $0.10 cents higher in others.

I hauled two loads today and nothing for tomorrow yet. I hope I find something, the wife took the next two days off so that means she will have a large honey-do list if I am not trucking.

I haven't been seeing very many hoppers recently. Maybe they are sitting or went broke I don't know. I haven't gotten a call from a broker in a month or so, that's usually bad. During fall harvest they were driving me crazy with their calls.

I got a new gig hauling containers and pulling vans. They run me out of hours every day. I had no idea this part of the business was so complicated. I actually miss throwing 90lb tarps around.

    RW. and wheathauler Thank this.

I had a friend that just parked his hopper and leased to a company in Wichita pulling a dry van and he called me yesterday complaining about running 750 miles a day and having early morning appointment times. He is use to sleeping at home every night and running less miles. :biggrin_2559:

I am working on getting my interstate authority going today. Looks like slim pickens around here.

Well I did all my filing on line at the FMCSA site for my Interstate Authority and it was easy to do and a lot cheaper. Know I just wait. As soon as I click the pay button my phone was ringing from different insurance agents and agents to do my IFTA and other crap. Talk about vultures.

I've seen that truck, if i remember right, its very sharp.

Lol, i've been too busy counting my money! Uh huh... Been having internet problems, havent been online since sunday, so this evening i went to our us cellular dealer and bought a samsung tablet and can get the net on it now. Finally made it into the 21st century... Been staying busy, the old man is farming this week, and sure enough, we get plenty of corn moving now. Still pretty steady with the step, headed to bowling green,KY tommorrow with it. Been dry around here lately, everybody going full speed in the fields.

Make sure whoever you have your insurance with gets it posted with FMCSA so that doesn't hold you up.
