We got 4" of rain here last night and it came fast with flooding again. They reported 6" just outside of town. According to the weather it is going to be another stormy afternoon and night. Looks like central Kansas is in for a storm also.
-
Ironic isn't it, first no rain now too much. Going to make harvest down there a real mess.
We're in a high risk for tornadoes this afternoon. Hopefully we dodge all the bad weather. -
We dodge them last night and were in for a high risk of them tonight.

The damage and storms were about 50 to 60 miles south of us. I was watching the weather earlier this afternoon and they showed a F4 Tornado which is a good size mother that started about Hinton and was traveling east on I-40. I called a Friend of mine that lives on the south side of I-40 and he was just leaving his shop and heading home to get the wife and it was right in his path but when it got almost to El Reno it turned left and went around the north side between the big Indiana Casino and El Reno but it hit Piedmont, OK and then another tornado hit Newcastle, OK which is just south west of OKC.
The only tornado that was close to us was the one that hit Canton Lake about 45 miles south west of us. We got a five minute down pour and then the sun came out. They showed a grain hauler getting blown over on his side down at El Reno said the driver had head injury's and was taken to the hospital. You just never know when and where they will hit. I have a scardy hoe behind my house but the door and lock is busted on it I guess I better get that fixed while I am sitting this week. -
You guys get some bad storms in Kansas?
