$24,500,but it seems really sound. 2nd owner truck with all the paperwork and drives like a dream, steers are knee deep in tread and drives are 70%, 565,000 miles but the previous owner put 267,000 of those miles(showed me his BOL copies from Trane) on 'er pulling air-conditioners rarely ever over 14,000lbs with a 45x96 flat,so she's not been over-worked. American Greetings fleet out of Danville,Ky.was 1st owner and the guy has the maint. records from when he bought it from them. I just don't know much at all about the Spicer's. It has 3.90 rears . Dang thang does handle great!

Sounds like you might've found a good truck dairyman. I dont know anything about spicer transmissions either, I think every truck I've ever drove had a Fuller of one kind or another. My T-8 has 3.90's also. Works well for getting out of fields, esp since we changed the super 10 with a 13. Its a little low geared for 70 mph states, but for running around on 2lanes at 55 or 60, its about perfect.
dairyman Thanks this. -
Well I was granted my Interstate Authority Friday and have the certificate in hand so know I need to go and get my prorate tag and IFTA account.

Well, it's hot today and going to get hotter next week....harvest weather. Supposed to have 40 to 50 mph south winds tomorrow, good tarp hanging on for dear life weather.

The harvesters have been coming into town the last few days. A lot of them are parked out at the fairgrounds set up and ready. I even seen two guys had wheel polishing duty on the hopper trailers, I should have snuck mine in line.
The big harvester is in town Olsen Harvesting more new equipment and a fleet of late model red trucks and trailers. I would hate to see his payment books.
Looks like the wheat will be ready to cut here this week and maybe we will have some to haul, if not I may have to volunteer at the soup kitchen so I can eat.
wheathauler, RW. and dairyman Thank this.
