Hope everyone has a great weekend. Its in the 90's here today. Ironically, I am putting a new heater core in the sleeper. It was starting to seep, figured I better just go ahead and change it before it becomes a full blown leak. And I'm putting shut off valves on those lines while I'm messing with it, didn't have them originally. Might need it to keep warm next week! :biggrin_25523:

RW, Got out of my truck last night in Morton and thought I died and went to hell. I'm home tonight and not as bad but heat index in the 100's is just wrong.

It's been feeling like that for awhile here. Supposed to be like this next week also. Heat kind of drains a person after a while.

I think I need to get some valves installed in mine and the a/c recharged. Sleeper unit blows kinda cool air but that's not really enough. It would run colder with the heater core shut off. It's ok at night at least. I have the highest idle out of 75 trucks. Yes, I'm proud.

We had a bad truck tractor accident in this area end of last week. I see these guys pulling hoppers at Riceland. Bad sad deal. Just makes me want to give everybody a fresh be careful out there.

Hot and very dry WH. We finally got about an inch of rain tuesday. Bosses are having to pump water on the rice full bore. Dryland corn in NE La mostly burned up I hear. Strange deal all spring in La. Water to top of levee and constant threat of it breaking but just on the other side bone dry.

Highside's 4th of July safety tip: With drought conditions, the chances of fire are severe. So, when you set off your fireworks this weekend, do it inside, where any stray sparks will be safely contained. You can thank me later.

For those with no sense of humor, relax, it's only a joke. Hoping everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend!

Been busy hauling wheat for last two weeks or so. Looks like the good paying loads are about done. The rest of them don't really pay that well. Sure could use some rain.
