I have run Firestone steers before on my Pete and had real good luck. Have a friend that runs only Firestone's all the way around on his truck and nothing else. I have a set of Kelly steer tires on my KW and really like them. Talked to my tire guy today and told me all the big tire Gods are having another price increase on tires, will it ever stop.

Glad your dad was ok,that could have been a bad deal. Steer tires are the one thing that makes me nervous,my steers i replaced were at about 7/32's or so,but one had a purty bad chunk out of it.

If you ever get close to Nashville, there is a really good outfit called Tafa Inc. that do a dandy job on 3 axle alignments, good folks too. They are on Foster Ave. right off exit 6 on the 440.

My tire man said the same thing,Big John, thats why i went ahead and spent the cash now,he said 8-10% by the first of the year:biggrin_25513:

I second dairyman's recommendation on TAFA (truck, axle, & frame alignment) first rate company that does a first rate job on alignments. Nice people too. They also do much more than just alignments.

I'm working at least a couple of days a week which isn't too bad for this year. This week hauling wheat to Horizon mill. I might do that next week there's a few loads left.

We felt that too. They can't decide if it was a 5.2 at 2km deep or a 5.6 at 5km.

Where are you at? It lasted just a few seconds but I thought it was never going to stop.

Bout 50 miles east of KC. Felt like someone was bouncing the floor of the house. We all looked around and we were all sitting down. Sis was pretty disappointed with it. Felt like 10-15 seconds of shaking. I started looking through earthquake data online as soon as I realized what it was.

I figured it might be the Madrid fault again but you guys have something odd going on down there. Several quakes over the past few days that keep getting stronger.

I felt it. It wasn't very strong here, felt sort of like a train going by.
