Not very, could have hauled some very marginal loads but decided it wasn't worth it.
dairyman Thanks this. -
There's not much going on around here. The price of diesel keeps rising but not the rates yet. Price around here is close to $4.00 last time I checked.

Every morning, on my way home, I go over the Verdigris River and look down on Johnston's Port 33 along US412 at Inola, OK. They're still lining up miles long at that place. Having not kept up too much with anything lately, besides where the fish are biting
, I thought hoppers might be doing pretty good.

Interesting. I've seen loads going out of Inola but what I've heard they aren't paying much. Catoosa was supposedly the same.

Might be worth getting a load out of there sometime. However if the lines are as long as paddletrucker has seen might take a while.

Thursday I hauled wheat into Port 33. This paid better then the wheat and soybeans we've been hauling between the various elevators. Company policy prohibits me from saying what that is...

Don't blame your company... It's cut throat out there now. Nice looking dump oufit if that's your truck. Actually I know who your company is after looking at the truck.

The lines are pretty long, but I go through there well before they're up and running. Once they get going, it's always looked to me like they run through 'em pretty good. I think they load/unload a lot of trucks at once. Of course, I've never done that kind of work and have only seen that port, so I have no idea how it compares to other places.
