Hopper, Dump O/O's & Drivers

Every morning, on my way home, I go over the Verdigris River and look down on Johnston's Port 33 along US412 at Inola, OK. They're still lining up miles long at that place. Having not kept up too much with anything lately, besides where the fish are biting, I thought hoppers might be doing pretty good.

 

It all depends upon who you are hauling it for. Not everything is cheap out of there.

 

Thursday I hauled wheat into Port 33. This paid better then the wheat and soybeans we've been hauling between the various elevators. Company policy prohibits me from saying what that is...

 

The lines are pretty long, but I go through there well before they're up and running. Once they get going, it's always looked to me like they run through 'em pretty good. I think they load/unload a lot of trucks at once. Of course, I've never done that kind of work and have only seen that port, so I have no idea how it compares to other places.
