You buy it in the 5 gal buckets? That's the same oil I get. I'm always checking Oriely Automotive and Tractor Supply for the price on it in 5 gal and they can usually beat Wal Mart. Napa is another good one to check. Have about 25 or 30 buckets on hand that I caught on a sale about a year ago... Hate to think what it's gonna cost when that runs out..

. Tractor Supply's in our area are normally a little ''pricey'',but they generally beat WalleyWorld,i was actually out for dinner with the wife and we ate at O'Charlies which is across from W-Mart,and was just too tired to try and drag her away from W-Mart

Dairyman, TS is pricey here too. Only time we get a deal is when they have their fall sales.
We do get good deals at Bomgaars on the Anti-Gel stuff. No one beats their price on that. So we usually buy a case or two.dairyman Thanks this. -
Any of you ever been to the Bartlett elevators in KC? Seeing some loads there but wasn't sure where they were.

It's kinda confusing, the Fairfax elevator is located off of I-635, to K-5 hwy. You'll come to an intersection at the bottom of a curved hill, have the jakes running, as there's a stoplight there. To your left is the elevator. This is in the Fairfax addition of KC.
River Rail is located on I-70. Take the James Street exit. Now at the bottom of the ramp, go to the left, then back to the right. Look for the stoplight that has the green light arrow pointing to the upper right. You go over a bridge, that dumps onto Fairfax. This is how and why I get them confused. River Rail is on Fairfax Trafficway, while the Fairfax elevator is on Kindleberger Road in FairFax.Last edited: Mar 24, 2012

Thanks eaton, I think I saw your truck in Hutch this week or last...if it's the dump with stripes on it. I can't remember when, my mind is numb from all the loads I've done last three weeks. Cross city loads pay good but get tiring.

Small world, my dry van sat at a customer location less than a mile from that elevator on 210 for several weeks. Often wonder about some of the hoppers I see when I'm out there hauling freight in some of you guys areas. Run through dairyman's neck of the woods more often than up in MO, KS areas though.

I got a email today for a load of wheat. Figured out to around .99 a loaded mile.
Hopefully nobody is crazy enough to haul it for that.
