That's a tough question. I have goodrich on my truck and dunlops on trailer. I'm not sure they are any better than other tires but I like them. I have friends who swear by Michelin so whatever you like.

I'm a member of OOIDA too,COhauler. They have always been really helpful with any questions i've had and they really went to bat for my cousin when he had a couple of brokers dragging their feet on payment for 2 loads, they ended up getting ALL of his invoices payed that were owed to him.I've never had to use them for that particular reason myself, but i have not forgotten about what they did for him.I'm also in their drug consortium.

    COhauler Thanks this.

On a really sad note folks,my mechanic had what they think was a brain aneurysm and passed away this afternoon. He was only in his mid-thirties and in apparently good health otherwise. He left a cute little 10 year old girl behind. Sad,sad deal.:biggrin_25513:

He was a natural, the little squirt could tune a motor with his ear better than most mechanics with a wall full of computers.I've seen him lay down on his back and put the oil pan of my 425cat on his knees while holding it with one hand, putting the bolts in with the other all while never upsetting the gasket.I'm gona miss him something terrible.

Ya'll stay safe and give your loved ones a hug the next time ya get a chance,ok?

Sorry to hear about your mechanic that's pretty young. Makes you appreciate the time you're here.

On a more positive note could have wheat harvest in a month or so.
