Do you happen to know who's hiring Mr Wheathauler? I'm curious about pretty much any branch.Just got my Stateside CDL,but been driving for years in Germany! Time to get busy!
I was going to suggest one around here but then I looked up their csa score. Ew. Try W L Transport out of Jonesboro, Ar. They seem to be doing quite well.
I hauled with a custom harvest outfit back in 09 and just got back into it again with a regular company around here. I've actually done a lot of different stuff over the years. Get bored with one thing and switch to dragging something else for a while.
Sounds like fun. Hubby is still running the reefer freight himself. I'm getting back to work on my graphic design degree soon, now that I am pain free and able to focus again and do things. I finally found a doc that has a clue and am now pain free. I could go back to driving if I wanted to . . . don't know that I could deal with the changes though.
Ain't changed that much. Load up and run so you can hurry up and wait. I slept half the day today in line. That's ok cause I needed it. I'd prioritize that degree though. Been thinking about getting one or two myself, see what else I can do before I run out of steam at the end of the day.
Thing is, I drove under the old rules of HOS . . . from the stuff I hear from my hubby, I may not like being out there now! I will prioritize the degree, since I'm definitely not ready to get back on the road yet anyway. I'm only 6 weeks out from my surgery, and definitely not quite ready to drive that much anyhow!
Eh, the rules always change and we adapt. I'm more concerned with keeping a comfortable seat now that I've found one. In a plastic freightshaker, no less.
