But they are not. Thats just it. Hubby screams if its over 80-100 miles to get a load. Most times its 60 or less. Some times he picks up right where he is. It makes no sense why they are doing this to Pharm.
With the Bull rack, it was nothing to dead head 400 miles, but the ppm is higher, still worked out to be very close to what we are making now, all said and done.

Yeah, I deadhead anywhere from 40 to 300, maybe a bit more, but 800 is just nuts. That's a whole nother load, or two.

Wheathauler, what happened to your 5th wheel?
-
They should be able to find something to fill in the miles. But they don't care. 600 mi is half a tank of fuel. Not worth going after a load that far out. -

The difficulty and deadhead is likely the area. If I go with them I can leave my truck in the Mid-West and rocket home in a rental or if Priceline is cooperating on a cheap flight. I grew up in the Mid-West so have bunches of family around.

I rebuilt mine with a kit at about 1.1 million (actually the mechanic that helps me on weekends did it, I handed him tools). The bushings and mounts are starting to get a lot of play in them, wonder if I'd been just as well off to get a whole new one. I know for a fact that mine is original, yours probably is too if its getting worn out.

According to those who know a Holland Fifth Wheel is expensive to rebuild. Naturally I have a Holland. For about 150 more or less could get new 5th wheel over rebuilt.
Supposedly Fontaine cheapest to rebuild. On my freightliner I got a Jost 5th wheel it wasn't too bad. -
