Well made my first day back. A lotta people asked about the truck (last time I hauled grain I had a different truck) we had a big sit down at North South TS. I had a Stromboli, hauled from Owensboro to Sebree. Yellow corn that they were docking for moisture.
kwswan, I'm a newbie, and appreciate all the advise i can get. i see what you see . some people have thin skin. i saw this post because I'm looking for my place in trucking. YOUR advice is wanted by MOST newbies
Still a bunch of us trying to get wheat out of elevators before the corn comes rolling in. Don't think we will make it.
thats becuase some of us are still trying to put the wheat in!!! fields around me are still flush with standing spring wheat, and corn, and canola, and flowers..........too much late season rain, and now a #### cold front
I definitely hear ya on tryin to get the wheat out, ive been sitting in line at the gluten plant in russell ks every day for the last month!!!
Cold out. 38 degrees. Corn harvest is slowly going but the cold damp weather isn't helping any. Supposed to be warmer next week.
Loading wheat bound for a turkey feed mill. Making room for rice. The weather here has turned cooler and wet like wheat hauler said slowed the harvest down for sure.
