WH. He did load out of Lyons. 8 mile dead head. Pretty decent.
-
They're good people there. I've hauled out of there quite a lot. I wondered if it was outside Chase there isn't much in the town.
-
I just have a farmer friend torch those shocks off, a lot easier. They are a bear to mess with.
-
I agree RW torch them out. Do have a little fire.
That's good can't beat that. Don't tell Pharm he'd be jealousPharmPhail Thanks this. -
Yeah, its always nice to experience the Neighborly ways of a small town. I miss that. LOL
Cowdoc, hubby used to pick up rice in AR all the time and bring it back here to the dog food plant. Somehow someone undercut the rate and he hasn't hauled it for about 6 months or so. You noticed any new hoppers in that area? Just wondering who got that account. If I remember right he hauled out of Jonesboro. -
I'm not trying to rub it in, Hubby just happened to be in WH's area, and was bringing him up to date on the load, I was surprised actually that he got a load out of there, its the middle of summer, and salt runs to county yards are usually done in the fall and winter months.

I didn't mean that you were, I was just kidding Pharm a little.
I'm doing my impersonation of a flatbedder this week, going out to Ohio for a load of treated wood fenceposts, was lucky enough to find a load of lumber to take out that direction. I haven't got too much room to kid Pharm, though. I have deadheaded all the way out there before when I couldn't find any decent loads to take. The guy I haul the posts for isn't very far away from me, and a good guy, so I go out there a few times a year and get posts. Loaded up the lumber this morning in the rain, so I stopped back by the house to shower and dry clothes.
I'm not super high-tech, so I won't be on here till I get back. How will I survive without my daily dose of this place? -
