No the thing I hate about a 42 (which I had before) is they have that flat spot in the back that has to be swept off all the time on a 40 they take the 2 feet off the back of the trailer and the back slope comes right up to the top rail I opted for the standard hoppers as the ag hoppers seem to take out a tremendous amount of capacity and I can still fit a swing hopper under mine with out any concern

I would agree about the ag hoppers. I had a Jet before Timpte and couldn't haul as much as a Timpte.

The back two feet does have to be swept but I probably would want the extra two feet for bridge law. Not that it really matters can't haul legally as much as I can bridge.

I have the inside bridge beat by a foot and a half with the fifth wheel slidd all the way up I know in kansas that they let you haul what you can bridge but can you haul any more than 80k with tandems? just curious

In MO on a non interstate you can have 36k on any tandem but still cannot exceed 80K (seems kinda stupid to me)

Just 80,000 with tandems. 12-34-34 is what allowed on three axle combination

I'm pulling a good half-ton more in this Timpte than I was in the Peerless. It's a foot shorter but so far nothing has suffered for it.

Depending how you look at it fortunately or unfortunately, I won't make any more due to the extra load, but the difference in monthly price just might pay for itself because of it. :biggrin_25520:

Anyone heard of H&M farms? A guy gave me their number and swore by them. He even got fired from them and spoke highly of them.
