I have only talked to one guy that says he couldn't make it their and have talked to a few that love it. Maybe that one O/O had a expensive lifestyle and it was not the companys fault. Might try Atlantic Carriers thay run about the same fuel card, trailers, loads.

Big John- With daycab FL 120's and IH 9400's hooked to 43 ft. aluminum Wilson and Timpte hoppers I can haul legal at 55-56000 lbs..
Big John Thanks this. -

The empty weight of our T-8 and '09 Wilson is about 26,800 full of fuel, with driver. By about 25,700, you better be finding a place to fill up. Our T-6 daycab is a little lighter, but its also got a wet kit, so not as light as it could be. I think the '02 Wilson is about 500 pounds heavier than the '09, both 41'.

The things I seen different at the ethonal plant in Ohio then the one in Garden City, KS was the equipment didn't look like a pile of scrap and none of the drivers looked like they needed a green card. -

Garden City is about 60-70% mexicans. They don't tend to have the best equipment. I'm sure they haul cheap to the ethanol plant. Loads are cheap coming out of SW Kansas, around 1.00 a mile.

It is field corn that has been processed with lye to release the B vitamins. We can't get the B vits. out of dry corn without this process. Still wet and canned is called hominy, dried and ground grits. Eating either way is an acquired taste.Big John, wheathauler and RW. Thank this. -
You're just a fountain of information Pawnd. Started trucking yet?
