An over speed alarm?? Good heavens, what next? That "over speed" alarm would be useless with most of the trucks I drove. On many, I was lucky to even get TO the speed limit.![]()

You should have picked companies with faster trucks.
buddyd157 Thanks this. -
No, we ALL had slow trucks. It wasn't until the late 80's when I got my own truck, did I have a truck with 350 hp. Besides, all the " fast" trucks were OTR, and I wanted nothing to do with that silliness.
-
OTR is silliness? What the heck would local drivers move if it weren't for all those 'silly' drivers? Anyway, this is getting off topic. When you find out what was causing your 'horn' don't forget to post it so we all know.buddyd157 Thanks this.

thanks for all the input. What I am finding out is that it is an over speed warning. My rand system is not accurate on speed limits so the horn blows when I am under speed limits in a lot of areas. I was told that I can have this program deleted at dealer so I am going to go that route. I will update with results! Thanks again to everyone for the advise.
Mr Budeedee Thanks this. -
Turns out this issue was not an over speed alarm after all. It is the windshield seal! It sounds exactly like a horn blowing. Thanks for the input from everyone.
buddyd157 and Mr Budeedee Thank this. -
Glad you got it figured out. Thanks for the update..sgarris Thanks this.
