Horn Honking

The only time i dont do it is if their on the school bus . sometimes the bus comes by and the kids saying honk the horn , last thing i need is bus driver freaking out and out it in the ditch

 

True, I don’t either.

Idk what it is about busses but it makes kids suck.

You got the cool kids saying to honk then their douche bag friends giving you the finger lol.

 

No problem there. Give the kids a good ride. It will put some hair on their knuckles. My guess is the bus drivers are used to it as kids will always be kids.

 

I'll honk for ANYONE that asks for it provided it looks to be safe to do so.

I drive for a small fleet that runs Volvos and Cascadias... As such they have little sissy horns. But I recently approached my boss to ask if I could put an aftermarket horn on, which he said was fine. He and the safety manager wanted to hear it when I got it done, they were almost as excited as little kids when I told them to come outside if they want to hear it. Both of them loved it, as do I.

Now I'm waiting for someone to ask for a honk, as I've only had the new horn operational for a week. Camt wait to see the look on thier faces when this little fleet truck let's out a good toot like a big truck is supposed to sound.

Must be a pretty wild bus stop. I grew up in the city and I never remember constant honking.

 

There have been younger folks who may have gotten frisky here and there and got a toot for it. It's not too often thankfully.

Someone else talked about framing tickets. If I got a ticket in those situations then I would frame it as well.

 

There was a strip joint in beaumont called the bunny club, it was next to the train tracks, I heard the train would honk before it got there and all the strippers would run outside and put on a show,, while he laid on the horn.

 

I’ve got a train to honk before cruising next to him in the boondocks.
