Agree! It will NOT show up on your MVR unless you were convicted of property damage or a ticket. The DMV could care less about being stuck in the mud.
If the cops did not show up and give you a ticket for some BS reason all you have to worry about is the company reporting it to DAC.
Even then it was not an accident so you could fight that anyway.
If they do report it that would be pretty low on their part.
Don't worry, live and learn......very doubtful you will hear anymore about it.
Do not ever trust a gravel lot.....lesson learned!
Horrible night last night... Got stuck...

My last home time I managed to sink my steers in mud as I was turning around to leave.
That one cost me $200 to get pulled out. -
If you go off of paved asphalt, walk it, stomp on it and if you can leave the slightest a foot print, do not drive on it.
This is one of the biggest rookie mistake that is made. They think just because they can drive their 1500# car on the lawn that they can drive a semi truck on it.
Let me save you any future trouble from personal 20 yr old rookie mistake. Just because a parking lot is paved, it still doesn't mean it will support the weight of a 45,000# on 2 landing gear pads... it will sink through and if your lucky, will sink to the frame without rolling over on its side. I got lucky and all I had to do was pay a tow truck to pick up the trailer, but a smartazz that was arrogant enough to laugh at me wasn't so lucky when his load of cement pipe rolled over on its side.
Your company is probably giving you this one, they might even make you pay the bill, but chances are another stupid stunt will send you down the road which will make it almost impossible for you to get rehired as you will be labeled a major screwup. -
Just be xtra careful from now on u hit anything and ur ###. Be careful dude.

While a company can and will put things on your DAC report, If no LEO's where involved nothing will be put on an MVR or CSA. Both MVR and CSA are administered by government agencies. If no cops, highway patrol, sheriff, DOT officer or anything like that came along and then only if you where cited in violation of some law or statute would any ding get on your MVR or CSA score.

I have never got it stuck enough to need a tow truck....and I've been in pretty deep. Of course now that I've said that...

They have to deal with this every day, at probably every shipper/receiver they work with, so what you got into was no big deal.
(sorry to those sick of me posting this thread... Hehehehe)

Mine were just up to the rim, but the drives didn't have enough traction to pull me out.
Then I tried to dig a ramp for the steers to make it easier.
It actually got me a little deeper.
Gave up and called for a tow.
As it was being pulled out I noticed my left fender was digging into the dirt and bending, so I called 'Halt!'
A little more digging under that fender prevented any damage to my truck.
Details, details.
It's all in the details.
And if had stomped the ground before I drove over it... -
Kinda like the one time I had to be pulled out of the mud. It was within my first month of being solo also. I parked in a truckstop not too far from my house. It was Feb. and the lot was covered in snow (remember, first time parking there) so I simply pulled in next to the line of trucks and dropped trailers already on the lot and thought nothing of it. Come Monday after a bit of rain and the snow melting over the weekend I found that that row was a dirt lot and I managed to park my truck right in a nice soft patch of dirt. Had to get it pulled out and all the company cared about was if I would be late to delivery (didn't even care about pickup as it was a drop and hook.)

I've had it in up to the hubs...no big deal, really....at least not for a Mack. Tall rubber and no fairings gives me plenty of ground clearance...and aggressive, open lug drive tires give all the bite I could ever want. Of course I'm kicking myself for going with a closed shoulder tire this last time around...BFG DR444's ain't near as good as the Michelin XDE M/S through the mud. Saved $100/tire by going with the BFG's, though....so at $200/tow, I figure I saved enough for 5 winch-outs.
