horrible truck stops

    we had a run to maxton NC,across the street from the campbell soup company there is this little dinky place.It was horrible,what a dive.Not to mention being bothered by hookers all night and people with scam stories.Dont even think of using the bathroom in there,ya might catch something ajax wont get off. I wouldnt recomend staying here at all let alone bring a dog there.I couldnt wait to get the hell out of there.

    just a tip if ya ever go that way.

    Yes it is but been to worse Have to do what you have to do to wait to get loaded and unloaded This is what life is on the road

    I've been there too. I wouldn't even call it a truck stop. Just a hole in the wall that's across from Campbell soup. Better off staying at the Hardees down the road at the 74 interchange.

    Yep. The Hardees is good. Enough room for about 30 trucks. Dirt and gravel lot. And, if you need to do some grocery shopping, there's a Food Lion next to the Hardees.

    I'm familiar with the place.

    It's notorious for lot lizards and other hijinks you probably wouldn't want any part of. I stopped there one time after offloading some soup across the street. Never again.
