horrible truck stops

Has anyone been to Brady's (Mobil) in Inyokern, CA?

The place is INSANELY creepy and disgusting. Check out the Google reviews and the yelp reviews - worthy reading.

When I was there recently there were a number of cars to the left front of the store, but absolutely nobody at the store - not even a cashier. Whose cars were these? Victims?

"This place is as creepy as it gets. Feels like you’re in a horror movie. Walked through the store (all the lights were out) only to be freaked out by an old man passed out in an office behind a glass window illuminated by a red light. Wouldn’t recommend bringing your family here at night."

"Stopped here, walked in and found the shelves sparsely stocked with old dusty cans. TV was playing a repeat of a man yelling "the revelation is coming! The end times are near!" The attendant looked like someone out of the movie Deliverance. When we left, fearing for our lives, the outside air was heavy with a smell of rotting bed sores, a rotten, death, fruit smell coming from the trailers behind the station. If you want to meet your maker by all means stop here." Not sure why they gave two stars?
