I have a 2011 vnl 200.
12 speed I shift with d13 motor (405 hp)
Truck has been running/shifting great. I took into Volvo to get tuned to 500 hp. They called and said calibration won’t complete due to an air leak in the transmission. Truck is a paper weight for now. Won’t run. Want to pull transmission and look into it. Has anyone experienced this or know what to do? Any Volvo mechanic have a solution? Dealer won’t share much info, such as, can transmission calibration be skipped and relearn as drove over next week.
Thanks
Al

I will call the dealer again tomorrow morning. Service manager told me he had to call into Volvo headquarters for the code. But with motor/tranny/driveline setup Volvo would give the code for 500 hp. They also gave me new stickers for the door and valve cover. Had them turn up a couple. Bought these trucks off Taylor and Martin out of PA. Don’t know how to work on any of these new trucks so a dealer could tell me anything and have no way to know the correct info.
Thanks again.

Yes the 2011 should be capable of 500/1750 rating -
Gateway Volvo out of central mo. What should I ask or say so they know how to skip trans calibration. I’m confident the tranny is in good shape. We will drive it local awhile to make sure we are fine. Just need my truck back working. Thanks
