Doesn’t matter, if you’re exempt you don’t have to show it because at the time of inspection it isn’t required. The officer can follow you until you’re out of the radius and then have a look, but exempt is exempt.

Sort of like the propane exemption going on now until the end of the month. No log book required when hauling propane or going to load propane, so no log book to show the officer if you’re stopped with your red placards on.
