    According to Keep Truckin ELD which is what this thread discussion evolved into.
    The problem is that Keep Truckin is all too popular provider and it may not be too easy to dismiss what it shows without some authoritative and official confirmation that is indeed incorrect. Especially, that their reps stand by it.

    I ran on a AORBD but never on an ELD so I have a question. I know that the machine will highlight a violation, so the driver and company can see it. But are these same violations highlighted when in the inspection mode? I heard from a DOT cop that he doesn't see any violations highlighted and he still looks for them the same way he always did.

    It won't but you have to remember to always put into Inspection mode before handing the device over to them.
    It actually puts my mind at ease now when I think about it.
