I'm confused! Are you insinuating that truckers may "fudge some time"? Really? I'm going to my quiet place to deal with my inner turmoil now...![]()

Usually about 30 minutes on duty to start up (get paper work, get tractor, hook up, pre trip, etc.
True drive time.
3-4 minutes on duty to check in and dock. That was exact time. All I had to do was open my doors, walk 20' to the shipping office, stick my head in "Hi I'm here", hop back in the truck and back into the door. Took no time at all.
Go off duty for however long it took to load 30-60 minutes.
7-10 minutes on duty to get paper work, pull forward, close the doors and take off.
Repeat daily...
Of course if your company says 15 minutes, then you are not relieved from duty so you must log 15, even if you are not doing anything. -
I cleared it with safety. I am correctly logging it and the messages are just automated.
ZVar Thanks this. -
When your 70 is gone, you are free to go play for 34 hours. Lots of fun. -
Expeditor Thanks this.
