Or you get there and they tell you, "no, there was no appointment for you. You load was supposed to be here LAST WEEK. We'll fit you in when we can."

####, I've only been doing this for 6 months and I've had multiple shippers take 7-8 hours. There is no planning for that.

I regularly will show a 10 - 15 min at a shipper or receiver when I first show up. After that, all time is off duty or sleeper berth. Once I bump the dock, the truck is shut off, I hand over the paperwork, then I am on my own time doing my own thing.Dinomite, NavigatorWife and peterd Thank this.
