And which state doesn't abide by the federal law on this issue? Does yours?

Ellsworth naming your essence isn't so much name calling as paying respect to you.
See Ellsworth all your freedom diatribe, the simple minded belief that some how only" you" freedom believers get it, you attempt at exclusion. Those are your essence Ellsworth just as they were your namesakes. I know you have difficulty seperating the circus of modern politics from logical discussion as do many which is why I believe they gave you and yours your romper room to play in.

You original statement said I could not carry in a commercial vehicle. Well I can, and not secured so long as the jurisdiction I am in has reciprocity with my home state. Your post pertains to the transportation of my side arm in jurisdictions without reciprocity but retains my right to transfer my weapon through it.

So to review saying we as an industry can not carry is a lie. We do not fall under any exclusionary law any other citizen does.

I have already told you how flawed your post and poll are. It is trying to garner the results you think by asking the exact same question two different ways. I'll give you an example.

Do you still like dressing up like a school girl and getting your butt spanked?
Or do you still like getting your butt spanked while dressing up like a school girl?

Your poll is flawed because it lacks a real answer. HOS is no more about freedom than a speed limit. It is a public use, provided by public funds, so the public(through government) rules it.

Wrong . The politicians listen to the organizations that contribute the most to their campaigns . The Teamsters donated over $2 million to Democrats in 2008 . Frank Lautenberg (D , NJ ) had a piece of that and that's why he demanded a "review " of HOS to get changes the courts and appeals denied the Teamsters .
Then Republicans regained control in 2010 and are telling Obama to leave HOS as is .

    HOS VS Brains

As the well knowing saying goes.
Rules are for the guidance of the wise and the obedience of fools.

Because of the distinct scarcity of Brains you end up with HOS.
A form of catering for the lowest common denominator.

If only there was a pill for stupid.

What does carrying a gun in a truck have to do with HOS?

Nothing. It has to do with the first part of the thread brains. See Ellsworth made yet another flawed statement about carrying in a commercial vehicle. It goes to the first half because much like the wording of his poll it displays his oh how should I put it..........

Ellsworthness is all I can equate it to. He is a strange bird I admit but so was his namesake.

If you understood the law you would conclude all states abide by the federal law on the issue.

Under the law you quoted, state law prevails and since most states allow you to carry in your vehicle, what's your problem.

Seems you have a strange perception of what rights are. The government grants no rights and you do not pay money for rights.

    Again Political Forum?
