$1200 to put a seat in because it has a fan in it? Flammin hell spend $100 on towels. The rest on beer. You'll forget about the problem....

I agree. I wouldn't spend that much money on a seat just because it has a fan.

Part of the expense in that seat is because it is a new KW take off seat that the dealer is just trying to break even. If you look the list price on those seats is over $3,500 new.

Only reason I have them is because when buying a truck you have to put seats in them. Might as well get the good ones.

Only have the cooler on the driver's side though. Passenger is heat only. Shouldn't be anybody sitting there anyways.

"Their asking $1250 (I paid less)"

Stress the I paid less part......

I needed a seat anyways. The original one is 8 years old. I couldn't find a seat with heat from seats inc for less than $1000 plus freight....I'm worth it...:)

You can buy the woven seat mats that throw on top of seat till you cool off, they work good letting air flow around the seat and you, great if you must change trucks often.

Are those beaded seat pads even comfortable? I've looked at them and thought they might be worse than the sweaty seat.

Once in a while I buy a can of carpet cleaner foam and spray the heck off the seat. Do that just before your 34 reset
To give it time to dry out. It won't cool you off but it won't smell cheesy either...

Actually I won't drive without one in the summer now. My KW has brown seats and the die from dark colored shirts bleeds onto the seat back from the sweat. No problem with the beads.

do you recall those wire mesh folding seat covers that were common way back? They kept your butt dry and seat clean.. I been trying to find some and can't come up with anything even on eBay
    I'll check Oldfarts.com

I've got a brand new never been used one that has been sitting in a store room for probably ten years or so. If you want it, I'll sell it for a lot less than twelve hundred bucks. I'd sacrifice it for $999.99, and andI'll even pay the shipping!
