The 7.3L was the only one worth a crap. i have friends who do truck pulls with them and the 6.0 was garbage, always popping head gaskets and streching head studs. The new 6.7 is ok, but still has it's issues. The Duramax is good, but the 100psi fuel rails make for them not lasting much over 150,000 miles. The cummins is a good old motor, but still has it's quirks as well. I guess it's the same with big trucks LOL

i agree both that i have are 7.3, but a 12 valve cummins is a fun engine...
as for the duramax i still can't wrap my head around an all aluminum diesel engine just doesn't make since to me -
A guy locally that does truck pulls has a 2004 F350 with a 12V Cummins in it..... it confuses a lot of guys LOL

i went to WYOTECH after highschool just got tired of the bs politics at shops -
I just realized that I could make more $$ driving the truck than working on it.
Plus we made $15.50 hr and the shop charged $135 hr..... Didn't seem too fair lolNWMAXI Thanks this.
