do you get weekend off from training? i am looking at going to the richfield traing facility and would be living about an hour and a half away. thought i might be able to go home on weekends if we get time off. thank you in advance for the help. also looking at sleeping in van with air mattress while there to save the money on hotel. is there someplace to shower and stuff and where can you get something to eat? don't want to set van up like living in truck.

Yes the schools are locate at our terminals. I actually liked that setup because we got to meet other drivers and it really made me feel good about my decision.

Most of our terminals, and all of the school ones (cartersville, Trenton, Richfield) all have break rooms with vending machines, couches, tables. There are no cafeterias. All of the schools have a plethora of food options within 10 minutes. I would advice getting used to packing food because once you get out in your truck it's either eating out or in and in is MUCH cheaper.

    Hope this helps

plan on eating in truck when i get one but just didn't want to bring to much stuff to school. also might take a few checks to get everythiing set up close to what i think i might want. will know more about truck layout and get ideas when with trainer but thank you very much for the information.
