Your contract to drive for the company pays for the essentials; food & hotel. That's all figured in to the cdl program.
That's a good deal for the trucking company. As long as you fulfill the contract, the company is reimbursed for the training, food, lodging.
That's also a good deal for you; now you have a very good career ahead of you.

    OK here we go ...

That's because people with the right answers are not going to Reddit and answering your question.
good for you, but you are running illegally. AND car hauling is NOT hotshot hauling.
This trailer has a 20K gvrw with a 12k capacity so you need a class A if I am not mistaken.
    OK big difference.
Forget what you know and learn fresh. Go somewhere that is not part of the revolving door system.
Yep, the road test is super easy, no one should ever fail it ESPECIALLY if they have a 51-foot loaded trailer behind them for more than a week.
Nope no difference, but you have experience, so you are not a newbie.

The food and motel and training are being paid for by you .
But just not up front all at once .

the company training you will require you to sign a loan document .
The company is loaning you the money for the motel and food and training .

The loan documents will state that if you work for the company for a. Certain length of time , usually 12 months , then the loan will be forgiven .
Or the loan will be forgiven so much a month .

not much different than if you put all your food and motel costs on your credit card and paid it off over the following year

As mentioned by someone else , if you’re pulling a 51 foot trailer , it’s very likely you’re supposed to have a CDL to do it .

Running over a curb is no big deal, unless it’s on the driving test .

    just protect your MVR
Don’t get any speeding or traffic tickets and don’t get into any accidents

If decide to go with Stevens just remember to stay as a company driver and fulfill your contract. Do not allow them to talk you into a truck lease!

The training, meals, lodging, transportation is still free to you if you fulfill the contract.
