Not on this part.
Mostly on the part that is effective in July 2013. -
I didn't realize there were multiple parts...with different effective dates.
-
This is all that is going to change in February 2012.

All of the 34 hour and breaks will be in the July 2013. This will be where they have the challenges.mgfg Thanks this. -
Great page,
Thanks and you are 100% correct.
I thought the date for implementation was quick but I have been out of the loop for a month.
Thanks again! -
pictured below is how I worked around the in a cmv part.
It really pissed some people off cause I worked with their rules to my advantage. While all them other guys were hack sawing their cabs to put a sleeper on their truck. I was saving my my money and sleeping real good too.
While just about everyone else was listening to the police and tax man, I was reading their books figuring how to make their rules work for me.Attached Files:

Works fine as long as you do not haul Haz Mat or hook up to a trailer of any size.
-
Probabally saved me 10,000 a year if I was to stay in a motel.
Saves a whole lot of talk just point and most of the time I don't get asked any questions. I really don't like talking and detest lieing.
I seen one guy that used to haul a tent around with him.
hotels have bedbugs too. -
I don't see that it should make any difference whether you sleep in the back seat, in a sleeper or in a motel as long as you are rested.
snafu Thanks this. -
I knew some that would disconnect from a trailer when off duty . For older trucks it worked o.k. . Newer 1 tons have a GVWR of 12,000 lbs. or more
